 This time of the year is typically very quiet for the NFL. Rookies are first reporting to practice, the NBA finals are getting underway, and free agency is dull. However, superstar wide receiver and future hall of famer, Julio Jones, revealed last week that he is planning on leaving his long time home in Atlanta to pursue a different team. He did not reveal which team he was thinking about joining which of course opened up a world of discussions and arguments as to where he should go. Luke and I thought it would be interesting to focus our content on the contemporary world of the NFL and so we began brainstorming. I decided to create another video that was centered around teams I think Jones would fit in well with as well as teams that would benefit the most from acquiring the star. I started by gathering some statistics and accolades about his career to open up the video so that my viewers would understand how good he really is. Then I went into all of the teams that I thought were his best potential landing spots and explained thoroughly why I choose them. Mr. Simmons main feedback to me was that the narrative structure of my video was excellent and the video flowed really well. He suggested using more recent highlights and taking about the team's futures more. I kept this video short and to the point which I think worked really well. I'm going to experiment with more animations in my videos going forward to keep the statistic I use interesting for the viewers and more visual. I'm definitely seeing improvement in my ability to criticize myself when creating content and take feedback to apply to my work.
